The LFM Loadport RFID Reader is a high performance RFID reader designed specifically for the semiconductor industry. The LFM Loadport RFID Reader is a read/write device of the LFM class (LF Midrange), which communicates with passive RFID transponders in the LF frequency range 134.2 kHz. It is designed for auto-ID solutions in the semicon ductor industry and is particularly suitable for integration in load ports in clean room applications with a read distance in the small and medium range. High-quality components make the reader very reliable and error-resistant – even in metallic environments.

Reader-LFM-LP

The multiprotocol version of the LFM-LP Reader supports all common protocols of the semicon ductor industry in one reader.
Supported protocols:
HERMOS ASC-I1 / SECS
Brooks      ASCII  / SECS
ASYST     ASCII  / SECS
OMRON   ASCII 1:1, 1:N
A protocol change can be done by pressing a button or by using a configuration tool.

The HERMOS-RFID-LFM-SET LP includes all components necessary to equip a loadport with RFID functionality. A suitable RFID-SET is available for all common loadport solutions in the semicon ductor industry.

Reader-LFM-KIT LP

Multiprotocol
All common protocols of the semiconductor industry are supported.
Simple switching using buttons or a configuration tool. The set protocol type is displayed by an individual LED code for 3 seconds when the reader is started at the end of the initialization.

Antenna port
Automatic detection of antenna break (defective antenna or feed line).

RS232 or Ethernet interface
Easy and uncomplicated integration due to RS232 or Ethernet interface. ASCII and SECS/HSMS are available as data protocols.

Various configurations available
Available with customer specific interfaces and protocols. The reader has the following protocols:

  • SECS/HSMS
  • ASCII HERMOS
  • ASCII Brooks Automation
  • ASCII OMRON V640
  • ASYST

Automatic tuning
Flexible reading range, adjustable according to requirements. Optimal adaptation of antenna tuning to environmental conditions.

Polling mode adjustable
Automated reading procedures simplify operations and control efforts.

Configurable test mode
The reading range can be easily checked on site by the device. The result is displayed on a status LED.
