RFID-enabled transparency in manual transport 🏭

Even in highly automated semiconductor fabs, manual transport still exists, often causing traceability gaps, extra travel, and handling errors for wafer lots.

The HERMOS RFID trolley meets these needs. It combines readers, antennas, and integrated read technology in a mobile, battery-powered vehicle. As soon as a cassette is placed on it, the antennas detect its position. Operators see in real time on the built-in display which lots are transported and where they go.

It can carry many wafer lots simultaneously and connects directly to the host system via Wi-Fi. Batteries can be removed, recharged, and reinserted for uninterrupted mobility.

The trolley provides seamless traceability across production, transport, and storage, reduces search and travel times, and ensures safe, efficient workflows where automated transport is impractical.
