Our CEO Harald Köhler in an Interview

HERMOS CEO Harald Köhler speaking in an interview about automation and future-oriented solutions.

Interview with Our CEO and a Journalist

Today, our CEO Harald Köhler participated in an exciting interview with a journalist. The discussion focused on HERMOS’ strategic positioning in the market and on how we can present our solutions to customers and a wide range of industries in a clear, innovative, and future-oriented way.

Particular emphasis was placed on the broad scope of our portfolio: from industrial automation, building automation, and building energy to data-driven solutions and holistic automation concepts for a wide variety of industries. HERMOS sees itself as a strong partner capable of providing customized and sustainable solutions to meet the specific challenges of almost any industry.

The journalist showed special interest in our Track & Trace division. The discussion focused in particular on how HERMOS supports companies in successfully implementing new regulatory requirements and upcoming EU regulations. Special attention was given to future transparency and sustainability initiatives that are already shaping the industry of tomorrow.

According to new EU regulations, every product will soon need to be fully traceable throughout all stages of its lifecycle – from raw materials and manufacturing to disposal. Thanks to our many years of experience in the tobacco and pharmaceutical industries, as well as numerous other sectors, HERMOS already possesses extensive expertise in supply chain transparency and traceability.

HERMOS helps companies design transparent and efficient B2B processes while also creating trust and traceability for end customers in the B2C sector.

During the interview, our CEO particularly emphasized one important point: although many regulatory requirements will only become fully mandatory in the coming years, many companies underestimate the necessary lead time. Implementing a comprehensive Track & Trace infrastructure often requires several years of planning and execution. Companies that start too late risk significant challenges regarding market approval and legally compliant product documentation.

In addition, the journalist was interested in several of our major projects and references, including projects with Fraport and Deutsche Bahn. Of course, we will continue to provide further information and insights and are already looking forward to future publications and exciting joint media projects.
