The energy suppliers carry out RLM for large customers (electricity consumption > 100,000 kWh/a; gas consumption > 1.5 GWh/a). In this process, power averages are formed quarter-hourly for electricity and hourly for gas. The values are sent regularly (e.g. daily) to the network operator. This detailed recording allows the network load by the customer to be determined.
