EnEV

Energy Saving Ordinance “Energieeisparverordnung”

The EnEV takes a combined view of systems engineering and thermal insulation and sets a minimum standard for the primary energy demand of buildings. The German government’s goal is to achieve a nearly climate-neutral building stock by 2050 through better insulation and the increased use of renewable energies. To this end, the limit values for new buildings will be adjusted again and again over time.
