The degree day figure reflects the local climatic conditions and is used in a weather adjustment. It is based on an indoor room temperature of 20°C and a heating demand from an outdoor temperature (daily mean) of 15°C. If the GTZ 20/15 is calculated, all differences from 20°C and the outdoor temperature must be added up if the outdoor temperature is below 15°C.
