Your tasks

Develop software:
When new software is needed, you help figure out what functions it should perform. In doing so, you’ll develop user interfaces that are easy for users to use.

Testing applications:
Before you offer a software, you check it thoroughly and solve bugs.

Creating concepts:
To make sure everything works smoothly, you first create a concept for your project.

IT support:
You explain to employees and customers how the new software works. You are the contact person for all kinds of IT problems.

Your profile

You have a (technical) high school diploma or a very good secondary school diploma
You already have previous knowledge in dealing with hard- & software
You are characterized by your analytical thinking
You have a good general education and good English skills

The apprenticeship

As an IT specialist for application development, you specialize in the development of software for companies and customers. For this purpose, you plan and develop IT systems. During your training as an IT specialist for application development at HERMOS you will get to know our successful automation software FIS. You learn to modify, test and document the existing applications. With the help of diagnostic systems you will track down errors and improve them with the help of expert systems. You present your own applications and support users through consulting and training.
