Your tasks

Installing and setting up:
You will install electrical parts, equipment, and wiring and drive systems
in various areas of the plant. After setup, you’ll set up the machines properly.

Checking:
To ensure that all machines run properly, you maintain and check them at regular intervals. If necessary, you reprogram them or put individual parts back in the right position.

Repair:
In the event of a malfunction, you find out what the fault is. Based on the troubleshooting, you work out suitable solutions.

Instructing:
When handing over the equipment, you instruct the future users in its operation. You show them the correct and safe handling of the machines and their individual parts.

Your profile

You have a secondary school diploma or a good qualification for university entrance
You enjoy the subjects math and physics
Electronic and logical understanding are a matter of course for you
You are communicative, a team player and have manual skills

The apprenticeship

Your main task as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d) is to install, set up and repair systems and machines. At the beginning of your training at HERMOS, you will learn in our training group how a switchgear is manufactured using a construction plan. You will learn how to test, measure and adjust systems, assemblies and machines so that they function optimally for our customers. Commissioning and maintenance of the energy and control systems are also part of your tasks. You will also gain an insight into PLC programming, which plays a key role in our automation solutions.
