With state-of-the-art machines for cable and wire harnessing, HERMOS complies with the currently applicable Low Voltage Directive and DIN labeling requirements. Supported by state-of-the-art production planning and control systems, production is carried out according to certified processes and complies with the European standards EN61439-1 and EN61439-2 as well as the North American standards UL508A, NFPA79 or UL698A. Process-oriented manufacturing automated according to industrial principles is the foundation for high-quality and timely order fulfillment.
Engineering
Electrical design & CAD services based on EPLAN & ELCAD
In the field of electrical design, our employees create circuit diagrams and 3D models using modern planning tools as well as our in-house design configurator. In addition to the planning of switchgears, we realize automation solutions based on PLC and IT software.

The largest working ship in the world
Wherever electronics are involved, control cabinets are needed. In terms of size, they can range from a small box to a large switchgear. In what is currently the world’s largest working vessel, the “Pioneering Spirit”, control cabinets from HERMOS are installed. They are needed for the operation and control of hydraulic lifting cylinders, which can carry a load of up to 48,000 tons!
