Key figures

The key figure is the measurement of a quantity, e.g. temperature, travel time, total costs or unit costs. A distinction is made between absolute and relative key figures, which are dimensionally dependent or dimensionless. The property of a ratio, i.e. whether a high value is good or bad, is based on empirical values. The informative value is increased if comparative values (average and optimum) of other surveys are used.
